Difficulty: Moderately EasyInstructionsThings You'll Need:
An Oppourtunity
Honesty
Step 1 Do not go along with the lie. (Raven, did you read this one? Need someone to explain it to you?) If the liar insists that it is true make it clear verbally that she/he is lying.
Step 2 Expose this person every time they lie. (My God! Me and Tami have been doing it right all along!)
Step 3 Explain that lying isn't going to get them anywhere, and that honesty will gain much more praise and acceptance on your part.
Step 4 Repeat Steps 1-3 as needed.
Step 5 If there is no effect on the person, cut ties with them. Liars can get you in trouble and bring unnecessary stress to your life.
'Nuff said. Nowhere there does it say to placate the liar, to not defend yourself, to sit quietly while they attack you again and again and again. And step 5 is a really nice touch. Sound advice, if I do say so myself.
